据欧盟食品安全局（EFSA）消息，应欧委会的要求，7月31日欧盟食品安全局评估了饲料中玉米烯酮及其代谢物对动物健康构成的风险。
玉米烯酮是一种由镰刀菌产生的霉菌毒素，普遍存在于粮食中。它有三种初级代谢产物α-ZEL、β-ZEL、α-ZAL、β-ZAL、ZAN。
欧盟食品安全局专家组分别对牛、鸭、鹅、兔子以及猫等动物展开了评估。经过评估，专家组认为，玉米烯酮及其代谢物对家禽、绵羊、狗、猪、鱼构成的风险较低。

Zearalenone （ZEN）， a mycotoxin primarily produced by Fusarium fungi, occurs predominantly in cereal grains. The European Commission asked EFSA for a scientific opinion on the risk to animal health related to ZEN and its modified forms in feed. Modified forms of ZEN occurring in feed include phase I metabolites α-zearalenol （α-ZEL）， β-zearalenol （β-ZEL）， α-zearalanol （α-ZAL）， β-zearalanol （β-ZAL）， zearalanone （ZAN） and phase II conjugates.
