贝尔法斯特女王大学教授克里斯·艾略特(Chris Elliott)指出,将在9月份出席“食品掺假、文化以及现代餐饮加工”会议时告诉各位代表,解决食品掺假问题仍需做大量工作。他认为,英国面临新一轮马肉风波风险,每年欧洲地区5万只马可能被屠宰后销售。

An investigator in the UK horsemeat scandal in 2012 claims while progress has been made in the food industry, security has to remain a priority for authorities and the police or it will happen again. Chris Elliott, professor of Food Safety, and director, Institute for Global Food Security, Queen's University Belfast, will tell delegates at the Food Fraud, Culture and Modern Catering Processes conference, in September work still needs to be done to ensure food fraud is successfully tackled.
