According to Article 6 of the Regulation (EC) No 396/2005, France received an application from Syngenta Agro s.a.s. to modify the existing MRL for cyprodinil in lentils (fresh). In order to accommodate for the intended use of cyprodinil in France, it is proposed to raise the existing MRL for fresh lentils from 0.05 mg/kg (set as the limit of quantification) to 0.1 mg/kg. France drafted an evaluation report according to Article 8 of Regulation (EC) No 396/2005 which was submitted to the European Commission and forwarded to EFSA on 19 November 2009.
