德里巿政府卫生局长詹恩（Satyendra Jain）称，全巿检测13件美极（Maggi）速食面样品，其中10件铅含量超过容许值2.5ppm、5件添加味精，仅1件完全合格。然而雀巢公司（Nestle）声称它不含味精。
詹恩称，样品平均含铅量达3.5ppm，含铅量最高的样品达4.59ppm，已要求食品安全专员研究检测报告，采取相应行动。
